Rain is in the forecast and could be an issue for tonight.  Band will go on like normal, but we may need to make last minute decisions.

Call time for Marching Band is 5:45 PM.  Concert Band (Freshman) is 6:00 PM.  Call time for all percussion is 5:00 PM

Marching Band members come in your Band Shirt, but be prepared to wear the full uniform and a possible LHS Band Rain Jacket.  Long black socks and marching shoes.

Concert Band will be in there red LHS Band T-Shirt and will be given a poncho if needed for tonight.

We will have rehearsal Tuesday (Aug 14) from 7:45 – 9:30 PM.  We are learning the sets for Movement III.  The change in time is due to Football “2 a day” practices.  This should be the only change on Tuesday night rehearsals.

Big thank you to Band Parents for helping with the Concert and Lock-In on Friday.  The band is off to a great start!

Note about Fees:  Amy in the financial office will take all of the band/school fees.  Students can bring a check to school.

It looks like temps will be cooler next week, but upper 90′s is still too hot to go on regular schedule.  7:15 – 10:45 AM will be the AM session all week long.

Fridays schedule will be different.  More than likely we will go inside at 10:45 AM  then go over concert details and pass out the band shirt.  We will release at 11:30 AM and not have an afternoon session that day.  More details will come as we get closer.

It was a great first day of camp yesterday!  Just a reminder that we are on Heat Schedule for the rest of the week.  If there is rain in the area, camp will go on like normal.  We will be inside if it is raining, and then go outside when it clears up.  - MJ
